Identical twins Geraldynn and Geralynn Leaupepe have been added to the women's roster for the remainder of the season after joining the border side last round.
"The first couple of games they were like, 'how do we tell the difference between you two?'" Geralynn said.
"They just figured out that we wear different shoes and we told them about our facial features.
"I have a mole on my face and she doesn't.
"I think Matt (coach Paps) has got it down though, so that's good."
Known as 'Lynn' and 'Dynn,' the New Zealand born duo have played basketball around the world, most recently in Spain.
After receiving a last minute call from Paps, the 25-year-old sisters agreed the opportunity was too good to pass up.
"We recently arrived home from Spain and received a call from Matt asking if we'd join him and the team," Geraldynn said.
"It was an opportunity for the both of us to play together on the same team again for the first time since college.
"We thought we'd take the opportunity, and here we are."
It's the guards' first time on the border, having spent two weeks in quarantine in Auckland before arriving to play their first games against Ringwood and Frankston last weekend.
"It was nerve racking because we didn't meet anyone from the team until that day," Geraldynn said.

"They were very welcoming towards us and we just wanted to do the best we could knowing that we'd been in two weeks quarantine."
It also marked the pair's first time experiencing an NBL1 game.
"I thought it was very different to playing in Spain recently," Geralynn said.
"It was very fast paced and we played against some really experienced players.
"It was quite intimidating at first, but once we started playing we just let it go and were playing our own game."
They admitted the transition to a new town and team has been easier experiencing it together.
"I'm just glad that we have each other and we know each other well and how we play," Geralynn said.
The Bandits were scheduled to take on the Geelong Supercats this weekend at the Lauren Jackson Sports Centre for round seven, before Victoria's seven-day lockdown forced the league to postpone matches to later in the season.
The round eight fixture, set to be played on June 5, would see the Bandits take on the Sandringham Sabres for a home game.
The women's side is still waiting to claim their first win of the season, while the men have secured one win against Waverley Falcons.
