The Saints face a must-win clash against Lockhart on Saturday to keep their season alive.
"I couldn't play in the intra-club at Lavington because I have a funeral in the morning," Sedgwick said.
"So I will have a run with the Saints in the afternoon instead.
"Personally I've had an ordinary season so far after getting a staph infection.
"I've only played one match since mid-April.
"So I'm in desperate need of match fitness and the Saints were good enough to let me play.
"But I'll head back to Lavington when the O&M resumes."
