A young driver caught speeding at 40km/h over the limit has failed to keep his licence.
The 18-year-old was clocked at 150km/h on the Hume Highway at Barnawartha on March 21, and on Tuesday asked a magistrate if he could keep his licence.
The court heard he had a prior for a similar offence in Albury.
