
CR United have stamped themselves as Hockey Albury-Wodonga division one men's premiership favourites after a convincing 7-0 victory against nearest rivals Norths at Albury Hockey Centre on Sunday.
Both teams fought hard with United taking advantage of their opportunities.
Cleaner ball movement by the league leaders saw their forwards capitalise with goals scored by Alex McQueen (two), Ryan Heagney (two), Tim Smith, Corey Hill and Henry Macqueen.
Falcons edged out Magpies 2-1 in the weekend's other men's match.

Shaun Groch opened the scoring for Falcons, before Will Morrison equalised in the second quarter, but Tim Toogood fired in the winner to give Falcons their second victory of the season.
Division one women's leaders Falcons carried on their strong form with a 4-0 salute against Magpies.
Megs Cockayne, Ellie Florence, Jade Mann and Alison Stock were all on target.
