
A MAJOR Border school competition will be put on hold owing to NSW excursion rule changes amid the NSW coronavirus outbreak.
Albury Wodonga Eisteddfod postponed its primary and secondary school competition due to run at Albury Entertainment Centre on Thursday.
On Sunday organisers announced the competition would now take place on Monday, August 16.
IN OTHER NEWS:
"Please be assured that all entries and programming will remain exactly the same and you don't have to do anything further," they said.
"No new entries will be accepted, however. Please note there are no other changes to the overall Eisteddfod programming at this time."
Pre-purchased tickets to watch the schools competition would be transferred to the new date. For refunds email: admin@alburywodongaeisteddfod.com.au
