The Hume league clubs have been been decimated by the Victorian lockdown, with a host of players unable to cross the border due to their residence south of the border.
CDHBU football manager Paul Rippingale said there was no contemplation of the Power forfeiting its senior clash, but admitted it will be a week by week proposition if the lockdown is extended beyond next week.
"We've got through and we'll have a reserves and a seniors' side at this stage," he said.
ALSO IN SPORT:
"The Magpies are lacking in numbers too and we left in their hands to see where they were heading because they were very concerned.
"We have had a lot of guys that put their hands up to play seconds and we've brought a young gun in to play his first game tomorrow.
"We just need to work through with Magpies tomorrow to see what they've got and what we have and if it means we have to reduce the numbers, we'll do that."
