The NSW Land and Environment Court hearing in relation to a 335 lot subdivision in Corowa has been set down for September.
Mediation sessions conducted over a six-month period between the subdivision proponent and Federation Council fell over last month.
Court dates have been set for September 20-22 and will commence on site for the opening day before returning to Sydney subject to COVID-19 conditions at the time.
More than 120 objections were received with key sticking points being concerns over lot widths and sizes, the storm water management plan for the site and pressure placed on existing infrastructure including the Corowa sewerage treatment plant.
An update was provided to Federation councillors this week with the meeting agenda stating council can make more matters available to the public given the issue is going to an open court.
Council has required "significant" legal advice on the matter.
Meanwhile, the Corowa Community Action Group is conducting a council election candidates forum at the Corowa Golf Club on Thursday starting at 6pm.
