CDHBU coach John Pratt and his Victorian based team-mates raring to go

The Power were one of the hardest hit clubs in the competition which prevented players who reside in Victoria from playing last weekend.

They are set to welcome back more than half-a-dozen players for this week's clash with Jindera including Pratt, Mick Collins, Corey Smith, Nathan Rhodes and Josh Holding.

"We are basically at full-strength," Pratt said.

"It's going to be tough at selection that's for sure.

"Nobody wants to miss matches but a few blokes having last week off may be a blessing in disguise.

"There were a few sore bodies but having a week off and not being able to train as well, it gives blokes a chance to freshen-up."

Pratt revealed it was a frustrating experience watching a live stream of the match from home last weekend when the Power played Murray Magpies at Urana Road Oval.

"I was watching the match with my partner and she couldn't believe how frustrated I was getting," he said.

"I couldn't help myself and called our football manager Paul Rippingale who was at the match to let him know what I was thinking about the match.

"I am a hands-on sort of coach so it was tough to watch.

"Being such a tight game, made it even tougher.

"I could see Murray Magpies were sitting a few blokes behind the play, so I relayed the message for our blokes to man them up.

"I'm not too sure if they took my advice on board but we got the win which is the main thing."

The Power are in the box seat to secure a finals berth and sit fourth with a 9-4 record.

But Pratt said they won't be treating Jindera lightly who have improved sharply over the past month after overcoming a crippling injury toll.

"This is a huge match in the context of our finals aspirations and if we can get the win can really cement a finals spot," he said.

"We are fully aware Jindera are no easy-beats and are expecting a tough contest.

"But we have got a full list to choose from and won't have any excuses if we get beat."

Meanwhile Lockhart has switched its match against Murray Magpies to Walbundrie after Lockhart was declared earlier this week to be outside the Border Bubble.

The Demons kept their flickering finals hopes alive last week by scraping home against Culcairn.

They face another must-win clash and will be buoyed by the return of Matt Endresz, Michael Colohan and Jesse Margosis.

Zach Sheather played last weekend and coach Mitch Carroll said the big Demon would make the trek from Canberra again.
