
Border building company Joss Construction has been named the North East regional commercial builder of the year by Master Builders Victoria.
It received the honours due to its effort in the Department of Defence, Joint Health Command Garrison Facilities upgrade project, Albury Wodonga Health Centre, at Albury.
Joss also took out the category for excellence in construction of commercial for buildings of more than $6 million.
Master Builders Victoria chief executive officer Rebecca Casson congratulated the winner and made mention of its staged approach to the project, which was necessitated by the operational army barracks it was working on.

The project was completed without incident despite the trying conditions, with some slab pours being done at 3am.
Meanwhile, the excellence in construction of commercial buildings $1 to $3 million was awarded to Premier Building and Construction for The Hub at Walla.
