Due to run at SS&A Albury from August 19 to 21, the four shows will now shift to dates yet to be announced.
A Revolution Theatre Productions spokesperson said it was disappointing for the cast and crew who have put many hours into rehearsals.
"These new restrictions have meant that ticket sales to our Victorian audience members will no longer be an option," they said.
"Seeing as nearly 50 per cent of the current ticket sales were to Victorian residents, we have decided that not being able to present this Pulitzer Prize-winning comedy to our fellow Victorians and the theatre-loving community who reside outside of the Border Bubble is no longer an option we want to entertain due to circumstances outside of our control.
"Please continue to support community theatre and the performing arts during these challenging times."
