The Hoppers were scheduled to meet Rutherglen this weekend for the last round of the home and away season, but with the Cats forfeiting the clash, the Hoppers will spend another week off the court.
The second placed side is currently equal on points with reigning premiers Kiewa-Sandy Creek.
Coach Erika O'Connell said the Hoppers will play an intraclub match instead this weekend, with their B and C grades also finals bound.
"I think the thing for 2021 is just to adapt and see how it goes," O'Connell said.
She admitted the uncertain nature of the stop-start season has been tough on players.

"There's been a big emphasis on still keeping in contact and having everyone still doing some fitness, just to motivate each other," O'Connell said.
"Then we got that little taste of netball again for that game.
"We can see the end, we just need to get there."
The round 16 fixture will see Barnawartha host Mitta United, Beechworth face Dederang Mt Beauty, Chiltern clash with Thurgoona, Wodonga Saints play Kiewa-Sandy Creek and Yackandandah welcome Wahgunyah.
Kiewa-Sandy Creek, Tallangatta, Mitta United, Yackandandah, Chiltern and Thurgoona make up the competition's top six.
