A second person has been charged with a public order offence at Deniliquin, after a man spat in the face of a police officer.

On Wednesday, officers were attending a home on Wellington Street at Deniliquin about 4.30pm, to arrest a person on an outstanding warrant.
IN OTHER NEWS:
Police allege that upon arrival, two men at the address became aggressive towards police.
As the officers were attempting to put a man who was under arrest into a police vehicle, it is alleged one of the men spat in the face of a male Constable.
The 22-year-old was issued with an infringement notice for not comply with notice direction re: spitting/coughing and fined $5000.
The 39-year-old woman involved in the alleged offence on Tuesday is due to face court in November.
