Of the cases 53 are linked to known outbreaks, and 26 mystery cases are under investigation.
The Department of Health have not yet revealed how many cases were infectious in the community.
An Echuca aged-care nurse has tested positive to COVID-19.
The staff member received a positive test result on Thursday, August 26, after going for a test on Tuesday, August 24. They last worked at the aged care home on Friday, August 20.
It's believed the staff member lives in Kyabram and was fully vaccinated.
IN OTHER NEWS:
"It is a positive that they haven't been at work since Friday," Mr Bush said. "We think the exposure might be less because of that.
"Staff at the facility are being supported by the Victorian Department of Health and the Commonwealth Department of Health to provide full level support to lodge.
"They are working through the processes to ensure residents are cared for and the virus spread is minimised."
Four new exposure sites in Echuca and Kyabram were listed on the Department of Health website.
The Echuca case is just the second case in regional Victoria, outside Shepparton, this outbreak.
Yesterday the Shepparton outbreak grew to 67 cases, with COVID Commander Jerone Weimar predicting more cases will be uncovered in the coming days.
