The board and club presidents met on Monday night and decided the risk to the community was too high.
The league also won't name any premiers.
"As a community league, our clubs were really conscious of the health of everyone," league manager Cam Green stated.
"We didn't want to be perhaps the only league in the area to go ahead and be the one that potentially causes a 'superspreader' and ruins it for everyone."
The league had missed three short periods due to COVID, with some teams playing 13 of the scheduled 18 games, while others had completed 14.

Milawa was in the latter category, boasting 13 wins and a draw.
"It's hard to plan for anything that could be taken away from you at any moment," Green added.
