Siblings Lucy and Jim Grills have been joined by the latter's partner Katie Wills, teenager Marty O'Sullivan and Rupert Steer, as well as Toowoomba duo Matt and Byron Davison.
The group has won three of the events and finished runner-up in the other two.
"We're missing a few of our local players, like Abbott (Grills) and a few others who are still down home, so we're probably performing a bit above our weight at the moment," Jim Grills offered.
Albury-Holbrook is contesting the open men's competition, but females are also eligible to play.

Lucy Grills won best lady player at the first two carnivals, as well as overall champion horse with Berragon Floozy at the second, while younger brother Jim has also won best horse and rider twice, along with the overall champion horse on Berragoon Scarlett at Warwick.
