A Porepunkah publican has offered 10 people a $15,000 limousine ride for an all-inclusive night out at her establishment.
Janelle Marsden, co-owner of Porepunkah Pub, was devastated when the Victorian government lifted lockdown for the regions as of Friday, but would only allow of maximum of 30 patrons (10 inside, 20 outside) to enter pubs for seated service.
But she has gone to the extreme to turn a profit by under the strict capacity limits by offering limousine pick up and drop off within 100 kilometres of Porepunkah for all you can eat and an open bar service for six hours.
IN OTHER NEWS:
"It was tongue in cheek to start, but I figured someone may have had a ski holiday booked and might like to have a big night on their own in a pub," she said.
"It was the sublime and the ridiculous, so I thought if they're going to be ridiculous, I'm going to think ridiculously too and say why don't we do this?"
Ms Marsden said she had received individual interest, but no group queries.
