The region's youngsters have been dealt another blow with the Albury Wodonga Junior Football League announcing the cancellation of the remainder of the season.

The decision was made in light of the Victorian and NSW Governments' stance on the return of community sport.
The league has decided not to award premierships or medallions, however, those who finished on top of their ladders are deemed as the minor premiers.
Albury finished on top in both the under-16s and under-12s, as did North Albury in the under-14s.

The league was still yet to complete their first round of finals due to lockdowns.
Best and fairest winners will still be announced, as well as other individual awards at a date to be confirmed.
"The AWJFL would like to thank all clubs for their consultation and consideration across the entire year," League operations manager Matt Elliott said.
"Your efforts and dedication are integral and greatly appreciated, especially after the past two years, which have presented various challenges."
