Riverina Fresh recently launched Really Good Coffee, which is set to be a big hit for coffee lovers on the Border.
The drink combines beans roasted in Melbourne with a specifically tailored milk to complement the coffee blend.
Really Good Coffee's original version comes in a blue 300ml carton, while the no added sugar variety has a green label.
Coon's Dairy owner Linda Coon said the product has been distributed to Woolworths outlets, while a number of independent supermarkets and stores have begun to trial it.
It's a different milk to enter the market," Ms Coon said.
"It's not a normal flavoured milk as you'll find they're highly concentrated with sugar. It's a real hit of espresso coffee with milk.
"We've put it out into a few outlets and we'll see how it goes.
"It's been available at Woolworths for a bit, so it's great to be able to support local customers.
"We've sampled it out to Arnold's and other independent supermarkets.
IN OTHER NEWS:
"Our family business has been in Albury-Wodonga for more than 30 years, we have always delivered the best products to our customers and having a new premium iced coffee available from Riverina Fresh is very exciting."
Riverina Fresh chief executive officer Rob Collier believes the drink will live up to its name.
"There are few ingredients in it and we put a tiny amount of panela (unrefined whole cane sugar) in it which is a slightly different taste," Mr Collier said.
"There are no syrups, additives or artificial sweeteners in it.
"The taste will appeal to normal iced coffee drinkers and really appeal to those who buy iced coffees in cafes.
"We were seeking to replicate the taste of the iced coffee you buy in a cafe with a fresh shot of coffee and we think that's what we've achieved.
"We think it's the best iced coffee but the proof will be in the pudding."
Riverina Fresh partnered with Melbourne-based coffee roasters ST. ALi to develop the ready-to-drink product.
In 2017, Riverina Fresh launched a Border Blend iced coffee to fill the hole left by the demise of Kiewa iced coffee, which returned to the market later that year.
