Talk of Fletcher Carroll, Ben Kelly, Jacob Conlan and his brother Lucas Conlan going to play in the SANFL had surfaced but Miles was quick to set the record straight.
"We're never going to stop guys from trying to better themselves but they're staying at this stage for sure," he said.
"I'd like to think I'm pretty open and honest and I would never hold guys back if they wanted to go and play at a higher level.
"It's not just football for a lot of them, it's uni and what that looks like. At the moment, it's all still up in the air a little bit too.
"Certainly the Conlans are staying and Ben Kelly's just working out what happens with uni but I'm pretty confident he'll stay.
"Fletcher's a little bit the same, it's what employment works for him."
Albury finished the season as minor premiers and Miles is keen to keep that unbeaten side together.
"We're really happy with where our list sits currently," he said.
"Some of our younger guys this year, I think we can keep investing in them.

"It's something we'll continue to monitor, if we do feel we have an area of need once a few guys decide what's happening with uni and employment or even retirement with some of our older guys.
"Most of them are going to stay on but we'll identify areas of need after that."
The Tigers have already recruited ruckman Brodie A'Vard, while defender Dean Polo has retired.
