Two of the cases were recorded in the Edward River local government area, both were close contacts of the existing Deniliquin case and were in isolation.

Murrumbidgee Local Health District also confirmed an Albury resident acquired the infection outside the region, and is currently isolating outside the region.

A case reported yesterday that had not been assigned an LGA, has now been assigned to Edward River. That person is currently in hospital in Melbourne.

Today's reported cases are still under investigation and any new venues of concern will be advised as soon as they are known.

There are no new venues associated with known cases.

Anyone who has even the mildest symptoms is asked to come forward for testing.

NSW has recorded 813 cases of COVID and 10 deaths.

One new case was acquired overseas, and 12 previously reported cases have been excluded following further investigation.

In the 24 hours to 8pm on Friday, 98,266 tests were received.

NSW Health is today reporting the deaths of 10 people with COVID-19 - six men and four women.

One person was in their 50s, three people were in their 60s, two people were in their 70s, three people were in their 80s, and one person was in their 90s.

There are currently 1,005 COVID-19 cases admitted to hospital, with 202 people in intensive care, 99 of whom require ventilation.
