On Wednesday October 6, Burkes Creek Bridge, three kilometers north of The Rock, and Billabong Creek Bridge in Culcairn will have lane closures between 7.30am and 4pm to allow workers to access the site safely.
IN OTHER NEWS:
Motorists are advised the traffic conditions will be changed, with speed reduced to 40km/h.
Drivers are asked to drive to the conditions, and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
The inspection is part of routine maintenance carried out every two years to ensure bridge conditions meet safety requirements, and involve investigating underneath each bridge with specialised equipment.
On Tuesday October 5, the Twin Bridges in Jugiong and on Thursday October 7, the Mundowy Bridge over the Murrumbidgee River 8.3km north of Collingullie will also be inspected, weather permitting.
