Murrumbidgee Local Health District announced the case is linked to the Edward River cluster and has been isolating throughout their infectious period.
The MLHD has also received updated information on a case previously reported for the Edward River LGA. It's been confirmed that the person, who sadly died at a Melbourne Hospital earlier this month, is a resident of the Murray River LGA.

This updated information brings the cases in the Edward River LGA to six and the Murray River LGA to one.
There is a total of 46 cases reported in the MLHD since the start of the current outbreak and one death. Including 25 in Hilltops LGA, nine in Albury LGA, six in Edward River LGA, two in Wagga Wagga LGA, one in Griffith LGA, one in Federation LGA, one in Murray River LGA and one in the Berrigan LGA.
There have been no new venues of concern associated with known cases.
