
Two new cases of COVID-19 have been recorded in the Edward River local government area.
One of the new cases is a household contact of an existing case.
The other new case is linked to the Edward River cluster but remains under investigation.

There has been a total of 48 cases reported in the Murrumbidgee Local Health District since the start of the current outbreak and one death - including 25 in Hilltops LGA, nine in Albury LGA, eight in Edward River LGA, two in Wagga Wagga LGA, one in Griffith LGA, one in Federation LGA, one in Murray River LGA and one in the Berrigan LGA.
There has been one new venue of concern associated with known cases.
Anyone who visited Coles on Harding and Wood Street, Deniliquin on October 5 between 11.45am and 12.45pm or on October 11 between 2.45pm and 3.45pm is considered a casual contact.
Casual contacts are required to get a COVID test and isolate until they receive a negative result.
