Designer Tara Whalley is showcasing a video replay of her collection from the coveted fashion event on October 19 for her Australian audience.
She said her great-grandfather, grandfather and father had all lived in Myrtleford, so she went hiking in Victoria's high country last year and was inspired by the setting.
"The whole collection is pretty much an ode to the high country," she said.
"So you can expect wild flowers and wild horses and just lots of beautiful artworks that are inspired by the feeling of the area."
IN OTHER NEWS:
Ms Whalley was invited to show her collection at the Paris Fashion Week at the end of September, but due to COVID-19, she herself was unable to attend.
"I had a couple of assistants, which was really helpful, because all the clothes and everything were posted," she said.
"It barely even go to the runway in time, the parcel did a full lap of France and almost got delivered to the wrong person five times.
"But once it was actually there my assistants helped steam it."
Ms Whalley said she stayed up all night and worked through video to direct the assistants to get the details just right.
"There are limitations because you need someone else to be your hand, so there's a lot of dependency on someone else," she said.
"It's such a big moment and you just want to honour all of the work."
Ms Whalley said she had been nervous, but the show had been a success.
"It was so amazing just seeing the garments on models with all their hair and makeup done," she said.
"The prints was amazing, very thrilling.
"I could see from the reactions in the videos as the models walked down their eyes and their faces saying 'wow'.
"My collections are always very loud and bright and it was awesome seeing the reactions to it, so I think they enjoyed it."
You can register to watch the video of the collection being modeled at the fashion show at: https://www.eventbrite.com.au/e/168905377531.
Ms Whalley will also open her runway looks for pre-order the same day.
