Cricket Albury-Wodonga will start next weekend unless instructed otherwise by the NSW or Victorian governments.
While the increase of cases on the Border and North East in recent days has naturally left the community feeling nervous, CAW is working on the belief it can still start as planned.
'Unless we're specifically told by the Government not to, provincial first and second grade will start with T20s on October 23-24," chairperson Michael Erdeljac revealed.
"Under the current guidelines that we have been working on and they're updated every week, community sport can resume when we (NSW) reach 80 per cent double vaccination."

NSW is expected to hit that figure this weekend.
