Vehicle hits kangaroo on rural road, man hospitalised

Emergency services were called to Lookout Road in the early hours of Monday morning.

A man in his 30s reportedly hit a kangaroo in his vehicle before crashing about 5.20am.

Paramedics attended and assessed the man at the scene.

They took him to Albury Base Hospital in a stable condition.

He suffered back pain and a leg injury during the incident.
