Jurors in the trial of Jodie Contacolli viewed video footage of her police interview at the Wangaratta Police Station two days after the incident.

The Nissan Navara she was driving ran into the back of a 1955 FJ Holden being driven by Jamie Drummond on Greta Road at Laceby.

Mr Drummond and his passenger, Peter Turner, were killed in the crash.

The Navara drove on top of the blue Holden and caused it to spin on Greta Road, near the entrance to the Wangaratta Airport.

The incident occurred on June 13 last year.

Contacolli, who has pleaded not guilty to two counts of dangerous driving causing death, was interviewed by police two days after being released from hospital.

Her left arm was in a sling during the interview.

The Markwood woman appeared to be distressed while answering questions from Detective Senior Constable David Morris from the Major Collision Investigation Unit.

She was told near the end of the interview that she was being charged.

The Wodonga County Court on Thursday heard the Nissan, which belonged to her husband, was examined by a police mechanic.

There were no faults found.

A blood test was taken in hospital after the crash.

The court heard no alcohol or drugs were found in Contacolli's system.

Jurors have heard Contacolli was distracted by her daughter in the back seat of the Nissan moments before the crash, which was witnessed by Mr Drummond's son Trevor and the late man's two granddaughters.

"I don't even know if I braked," she told police.

Contacolli said "I looked up and they were just there".

Trevor Drummond earlier gave evidence that he thought the accelerator was still on after the crash.

The court heard no evidence of a driver response, like braking or steering, was found at the scene.

The last witness gave evidence on Thursday and Judge Michael Cahill said that part of the trial had now concluded.

"It will be on the evidence you've heard that you will make your decision," he told the jury.

The matter will return to the court at 10.30am on Friday.

It's expected the prosecution and defence will make their closing addresses on Friday and the jury could begin deliberations on Monday afternoon.
