Raiders won six straight wooden spoons from 2013-14, but moved off the bottom in 2019-20, clocking up five wins.
However, the club returned to the wooden spoon last summer with only one win.
"I'm not sure we'll look as much at the wins and losses," Pearce revealed.
I'm not sure we'll look as much at the wins and losses. We'll look at the way we play.

'We'll look at the way we play, even on the weekend, we lost both games, but we were in them for at least 50 per cent of the games.
"I think the way we're playing and sticking to a game plan is really good, if we can continue that, I think the results will just come through improvement."
And the 19-year-old will be vital to the club's development.
He opened the batting in the losses to Albury and Corowa, but it was his right-arm off-spin bowling that tied down the latter, posting 3-18 from four overs.
'It's probably pretty simple, but he actually spins the ball (laughs)," first grade coach and his father Stewart offered.
While that sounds unusual, some 'spinners' don't impart much work on the ball, so the ball barely spins.
"For an offie, he side spins the ball a long way and his accuracy is also pretty good," Stewart Pearce explained.
"The coaches in the (Victorian) pathways program always say the first thing they want from spinners is they can actually spin the ball."
Pearce is in his second season at provincial level after playing for Beechworth in Wangaratta and District.
He claimed 23 wickets at a tidy average of 19 on debut.
