The 24-year-old has joined the Saints from Centrals Trinity Beach, where he played 13 games in the AFL Cairns competition this year.
It's a return to the Ovens and Murray for Reilly, who played 84 senior games for Wangaratta from 2015-19.
"Will's a great person, a quality footballer and he's in the age demographic where he's going to continue to improve," delighted Saints co-coach Jake Sharp said.
"I think he'll fit in brilliantly to our style of play.
"He's an aggressive competitor and you love to play against those blokes but you love to play with them even more.
"It'll be good to be on the same side as him for once instead of coming up against him."
Reilly played in the Magpies' grand final win over Albury in 2017 and was also in the sides which lost the 2018 and 2019 deciders to the Tigers and Lavington respectively.
He made five appearances for Wangaratta's reserves at the start of this year before heading to Queensland and helping the Bulldogs to third place before a semi-final exit at the hands of Cairns City Lions.
"He followed his previous coach, Luke Morgan, up there and by all reports had a really strong year," Sharp said.

"He's had a taste of some different footy and he comes back to the Ovens and Murray to ply his trade again."
Last month, Myrtleford announced the signings of former Lavington coach Simon Curtis and ruckman Callum Crisp, having lost Lachie Dale and Luke Quirk to North Hobart.
"Losing those two hurt but we've got some quality signings now, particularly through our midfield, which will provide us with a little bit more depth in there and a little bit more flexibility with some of our players through that region," Sharp said.
Myrtleford report back for the start of pre-season training on November 20.
