Brocklesby-Burrumbuttock will take an understrength team into Saturday's home clash against The Rock Yerong Creek.
The club will be missing four regular players.
"Both Trent and Darcy I'Anson are out, Mitch 'Kosi' (Koschitzke) and Keith Tallent, there's a wedding or two on, so we're a bit light on, but the good thing is we've got plenty of numbers, so we're able to field two teams," Williams offered.
Brock-Burrum started the season with an outstanding performance, chasing down Henty's near 200-run target in the grand final re-match.
"I wouldn't look too much into it, it's only a little ground (Henty's Paech Oval) and they had a few out, but it's good to get the points early," he suggested.
The Rock stunned perennial finalists Osborne in round one.
