It's a terrific coup for the Ovens and Murray Football Netball League powerhouse after the Demons snapped a 57-year drought with that thumping 74-point win over Western Bulldogs.
"Max is arguably the biggest name in footy at the moment being the premiership captain, he's a multiple All-Australian player, he's a great bloke in the AFL community," Wangaratta coach Ben Reid said.
"It will be a great opportunity, people in the North East and Victoria in general haven't had the chance to get close and personal with these guys in the past two years and listen to two of the best players in their respective positions."
Gawn is known as one of the AFL's most likeable characters and it will be his second visit to the region in successive years.
He spoke at an MND function in Albury the week before COVID struck last year and wowed the big crowd with his humour and insights into the game at the elite level.
Information is available by emailing marketing@wangmagpies.com.au with tickets $120 each or $1000 for a table of 10.
