Jake O'Brien claimed battling Castlemaine's best and fairest in 2018 from only 13 games, while he played in the Bendigo Football League's last representative match in 2019.
At 180cms and 80kgs, O'Brien is a medium-sized midfielder, but he's expecting the O and M to be both a better and bigger competition.
"I'd say so, yeah, there will be bigger bodies, a lot of the dominant players in Bendigo are younger and lighter framed, but up here they're more solidly built and experienced," he explained.

The 24-year-old moved to Wodonga to be with his partner, but it was a tip off which pushed him towards the Panthers.
"I had a good chat with one of the Hopper boys who had been at 'Lavi' and he basically talked me into it, he said they were a real family club," he offered.
O'Brien was also impressed by Lavington's multi-million dollar renovated facilities.
