After a delayed start due to COVID restrictions and last weekend's rain, the district competition produced two cracking games with premiers Yackandandah edging past Baranduda with two balls to spare.
Ritchie posted his debut ton for the Miners in his second season, striking 101 from 115 balls with six boundaries and two sixes.
"He probably played the perfect opener's role, he dug in deep early, got through the new ball and reaped the rewards as he got his eye in," Bethanga all-rounder Jack Robinson offered.
Robinson chipped in with 2-29 from eight overs as the visitors posted 8-160 from its 40 overs.
In reply, Bethanga cruised to victory with Robinson completing a strong double with a top-scoring 39, while Matt Dalbosco produced a patient 33 from 58 deliveries.
"I think it was the perfect team performance with the bat actually, no one made over 40 runs, it's not often you win a game where no one scores over 40 and an opposition player scores a ton," Robinson reasoned.
"We didn't lose any wickets in clumps and kept the run rate ticking over."
Meanwhile, Yackandandah restricted the visitors to 9-138.
No.7 Zach Leach top-scored with 21 as seven players made double figures, with seamer Mick Walker grabbing 4-25.
The home team looked comfortable after opener Cooper Garoni made 33 runs from 81 balls to push the score to 4-126, but lost 3-4 as the game tightened.
Middle order bat Cameron Evans steadied the nerves with an unbeaten 35, combining in a short eighth wicket stand with Andrew Lockett.
Mount Beauty claimed a five-wicket win over Eskdale.
The home team sent Eskdale in with Jye Hodgkin's 50 from 65 balls proving the backbone of the team's 138.
Paddy Dodd destroyed the visitors with 6-18 from 5.3 overs.
Dodd posted his maiden ton for the club last summer.
A composed 33 from 76 balls by No.4 Will Betheras saw the Power home with 6.1 overs to spare.
And grand finalists Kiewa defeated Dederang by four wickets.
Kiewa won the toss as the visitors started with 117 from 33 overs.
Tristan Mann was the pick with 29, including three boundaries and a six, while Jacob Barber claimed his greatest club figures of 6-12.
Barber, who was the fifth bowler used, debuted for the club in the under 11s in 2006-07.
The home team pushed past the total in the 37th over.
