CFA, DELWP crews have grass fire near Tallangatta under control
One hectare of farmland was burnt in a fire started by a tractor slashing grass in a paddock near Tallangatta.
The blaze at a property off Bryants Gap Road was sparked around 3pm with CFA units from Tallangatta, Kiewa and surrounding areas attending.
The Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning also assisted.
The incident was deemed under control about 30 minutes after crews first responded, but firefighters will be on scene managing the fire for some time.
