Koschitzke will wear the coveted No. 23, which was worn by three of the Hawks' greatest players in Don Scott, Dermott Brereton and most recently Buddy Franklin.
The former Brock-Burrum junior cemented his spot in the Hawks line-up this season after making his debut in the opening round.

Koschitzke played 20-matches and was a Rising Star nominee.
"I'm pretty proud and it's certainly a proud number in the club's history," Koschitzke said.
"Dermie wore it, Buddy wore it and Don Scott, so it's a pretty prestigious number at the club.
"Growing up, my cousin Justin also wore number 23 at St Kilda, so it's nice to keep the number in the family as well as the history at Hawthorn.
"There is a bit of pressure and I have a lot to live up to but it's a good pressure to have on your back."
