
Albury Harness Racing Club officials are urging patrons to wear masks at tonight's meeting.
Although not compulsory outdoors, club president Paul Brown said all officials would be wearing masks at the meeting.
Mainly as a precautionary measure against the spread of COVID.

"All club officials and volunteers will be wearing masks on the night," Brown said.
"We just want to protect the industry and the community against the spread of COVID.
"As a club we have got the responsibility of making it as COVID safe us we can for the meeting.

"It's not compulsory but preferred.
"Everybody must check in using the QR code.
"It's the biggest event on the Border on New Year's Eve and we need to take every precaution we can against the spread of COVID."
Gates open at 5pm with the first on the eight race card at 6.49pm.
