For 36 years Cr Clarke’s moustache has been a proud part of his face and Wangaratta’s life.
Through three decades of societal change, Cr Clarke’s moustache has been a reliable constant, pragmatic in its ability to morph into a goatee or full beard, but underneath it all the comforting consistent mo.
But now Cr Clarke is putting it all on the line, confirming if Cr Ash Fitzpatrick raises more than $2000 this Movember, he will shave his moustache off.
MORE FROM WANGARATTA:
“Being a survivor of prostate cancer I certainly want to see men living longer and looking after their health a bit better and this is a way of doing that,” Cr Clarke said.
If Cr Fitzpatrick reaches the $2000 target, it will be the first time any of Cr Clarke’s grandchildren will see him bare-faced.
