Meredith was charged by the match review panel for intentionally or carelessly engaging in rough conduct against Yarrawonga's Mark Whiley in the second quarter of Saturday's clash at Lavington Sportsground.

After trailing at half-time, Lavington went on to record a thrilling nine-point victory against the Pigeons to maintain second spot on the ladder.
If suspended, Meredith will be ineligible to represent the Ovens and Murray in its inter-league clash against Mornington Peninsula at Rosebud on Saturday.
Lavington takes on Corowa-Rutherglen at John Foord Oval and the undefeated Myrtleford at Lavington Sportsground following the inter-league bye.
