Career Transition Assistance is open to people aged 45 years and over who are looking for work and are registered with a jobactive provider.
An initiative of The Personnel Group, the course aims to deliver enhanced interview skills, an accredited first aid certificate, a tailored career path plan and digital literacy skills required for the modern workplace.
The eight training modules will be delivered in a rolling sequence, so eligible people can join at any time.
Chief executive Tracey Fraser said initial feedback had been positive and The Personnel Group was proud to offer the program.
"The course content is practical and relevant to the community they live in, with information about the local employment market and onsite visits to local employers," she said.
