Books being collected on the Border this month, and beyond, will support children in Thailand as they learn a new language.
Rotary Club of Wodonga West is asking people to deliver secondhand, good quality primary school early reading books to Lifeline Albury, 6/429 Wilson St.
The contributions will be shipped to seven provincial primary schools in Surin, Thailand, with a bigger donation planned in 2020 to aid at least 24 schools.

Rotary club president Jos Weemaes said the venture arose out of a trip to Thailand where children greatly appreciated some picture books the Australian visitors had brought for them.
"This shipment now has got 250 kilograms, next year we're looking at about 750 kilos and hopefully it will be an ongoing project for the years to come," he said.
The remote schools are keen for students to learn English but don't have literature to support this.
