Sandy Creek came alive when Barnawartha held on for a thrilling one point win against Chiltern in Tallangatta league footy finals, while Tallangatta ended Mitta's finals run in a narrow win in netball action on Sunday.
Albury Thunder posted one of their best wins in five years, while St Pats were crowned the AWFA women's league title winners.
In Ovens and Murray action a huge last round decided the netball competition's top five with Albury raining on Wodonga Raider's parade.
And in football the Tigers fought back to overcome Myrtleford.
