The son of Albury premiership player Stephen Ash said a number of people have helped him in his pursuit of football over the years, but one person in particular stands head and shoulders above.
"Dad's been my biggest influence in footy by a mile," Ash said.
"I can probably count on my hand how many games he's missed.
"He's been a massive support for me and it's been good to have someone at every game that knows what they're talking about to give me tips on how to get better."

Stephen starred for the Tigers in their 1996 and 1997 premierships.
While Ash has been predicted to be taken within picks three to 12 of the draft, he said he knows whatever happens now is out of his control after years of hard work.
"It doesn't matter if I go one or 100, I'm not fussed," he said.
"As long as I get an opportunity somewhere, I'll be over the moon.
"Obviously nothing is set in stone and being drafted is sort of like turning the door handle, there's still plenty of hard work to go after that."
The Goulburn Valley league product credits his experience with the Murray Bushrangers in helping set him up for future success on the field.
"I can't fault what they've done for me and the experience I've had with the Bushies, it's been amazing," he said.
"I am thankful for everyone who has helped me along the way, I probably wouldn't be here without the support of so many people around me."
