In Sunday's opening T20 round, South Australia posted 5-97 with the Brock-Burrum all-rounder batting at number five as NSW Country hit the winning runs with only two balls left.
In Monday morning's match, Wood was involved in a crucial run out as Victoria compiled 4-103.
Wood came to the crease at number nine and finished one not out in a three-wicket win with seven balls left.
The carnival is a tremendous reward for the 34-year-old, who didn't have the chance to represent NSW Country for the bulk of her career as the women's competition is only in its fifth year.
