Albury Council put in measures last year to improve conditions in the Tenbrink and Hodge streets area, which included restricting access to Watson Street from the Ryan Road/Burrows Road roundabout.
Residents had expressed concern about the number of collisions and near misses, which led the council to investigate.

Mayor Kevin Mack said intensive traffic data had been collected during the trial closure of Watson Street.
"We're now conducting a survey of local residents to determine their views on the Watson Street treatment and other traffic changes in the area," he said.
"The survey results will help to guide the development of long-term traffic improvements in Glenroy."
Questionnaires were delivered to homes last week.
