The forward suffered concussion in the last quarter of the clash at Norm Minns Oval.
Appearing fine after the knock, Barber took a mark and kicked a goal before coming off the field for the remainder of the game with a delayed concussion.
"She (Barber) was up and about at the end of the game in the rooms walking around, so that was a good sign," coach Mario de Santa-ana said.
"They tested her with the concussion testing system and they'll probably do another test on Wednesday.
"At this stage, because of the delay, she'll probably miss next week."

Barber remained among the best for the Bushrangers for her earlier efforts, alongside midfielders Mikayla Jones and Zali Spencer who were strong in the clash.
Defender Mindy Quade was also solid in the first game.
Unanswered goals in the third term proved to be the downfall for the Bushrangers, who managed four goals in the last to show some dominance.
"It was really pleasing the way the girls finished off," de Santa-ana said.
"They could have easily said this is too hard, but they fought it out and won the quarter.
"We were happy with the effort, just some of our basics were down a bit and we'll work on that this week."
The girls played as the curtain raiser game for the AFL pre-season clash between Richmond and Collingwood.
Despite her early exit, Barber said playing in front of the crowd was an exciting way to start the season.
"There was a few people, it was pretty exciting," Barber said.
"Everyone was very excited for round one.
"The girls put all of their effort on to the field and everyone gave their all.
"Everyone's got the nerves out now, so the rest of the season should be pretty good."
Bushrangers' Grace Hay, Molly Kennedy, India Lehman, Olivia Cicolini, Sam Pritchard, Tayissa Gray and Chloe Locke all made their debut on Sunday.
