Leading Sydney hoops Tommy Berry, Kathy O'Hara, Rachel King and in-form Englishman Tom Marquand were all set to make the trek to Albury on Friday.
The trio were intending to catch a commercial flight into Albury on cup day before returning to Sydney that night to ride at the Golden Slipper meeting at Rosehill.

However, for at least the next month jockeys who travel to meetings are banned from commercial flights and either have to organise a charter flight or arrive in a private vehicle.
"We want to keep racing going and if there are any risks we can mitigate by getting jockeys not to travel on commercial flights we will do that," Racing NSW chief executive Peter V'landys said.
"We are taking all precautions to protect the industry."
O'Hara won the Albury feature aboard Canny Ballad in 2014.
