Murrumbidgee Local Health District reported as of 8am Friday, April 24, no further cases of COVID-19 had been identified, with the total number of positive results remaining at 45.
There have been no new cases reported for a week, the last being an Albury resident who had returned from overseas and was isolating in a Sydney hotel.
Five patients are presently in hospital and 38 have recovered. No probable cases are pending.
Victorian figures from Friday morning indicate no new North East cases, with the local government area statistics still showing 11 cases in Moira, three in Benalla, two in Wangaratta and one in Wodonga.
The Department of Health and Human Services said there were 1343 coronavirus cases in Victoria, six more than the previous day.
There have been 1062 cases in metropolitan Melbourne and 243 in regional Victoria.
Albury Wodonga Health confirmed on Friday there had been no further positive results at the service beyond the 10 identified previously.
The health service has conducted 2902 screening calls and tested 1299 patients.
Murrumbidgee Local Health District said 3287 people in the district had been tested for the virus, a rise of 116 from Thursday's update.
Another 189 people have also been tested since Monday's update, when MLHD director public health Tracey Oakman emphasised the need for increased testing to identify any community spread.

"We need to continue to be vigilant for the next four or five weeks and test everyone who has any symptoms at all, so that we can make sure we don't have anyone unbeknownst to themselves spreading it in the community," she said then.
