Like many Border sporting clubs, the Thunder has a host of members living and working in Victoria.
"At this stage we'll hopefully be able to continue, but we know we've probably got about 10 people across that club who live in Wodonga," he said.

"There's no precedent, we can't look at other things.
"It's certainly not making things any easier, let's put it that way.
"We're not sure how other teams in the competition feel about it either, whether they feel they're at risk by coming to Albury."
The club will train on Wednesday night and the Thunder committee will also meet to discuss the potential impacts.
Albury Thunder is scheduled to take on Southcity at Greenfield Park to start its 2020 season on July 19, with Junee set to travel down the following weekend.
