The Scots School Albury has been named the World Champion Pipe Band for 2020 in an online competition.

The school participated in the World Online Piping and Drumming Summer Championships and came out on top overall beating bands from across the world for most entries and most combined points.
Pipe band major Scott Nicolson said students were encouraged to sign up to the online competition, after not being able to attend the Edinburgh Military Tattoo.

"It is this culture of developing aspiring, courageous, well-rounded, and hope-filled young people of which Scots is most proud.
