CAW has six rounds before then, but Craig will play only three as he starts new employment early next month.
"It will be good to get some cricket under my belt before I do go back," he said.
Craig actually moved to Melbourne for seven weeks and, like so many Victorians, is anxious about returning to, at least, a COVID normal.
"It is incredibly frustrating, I've put everything into this, fitness, nutrition and giving it a proper go, giving my all and I've just been held back by this pandemic, as everyone has," he said.

To highlight how determined the 25-year-old is to play first grade, he's in the best condition of his life.
"Yeah, I've never been fitter and I expect to get even fitter, I've got a real drive at the moment," he said.
